In Japan the novel coronavirus is taking its toll on the entire nation. At present more than 97% of the Japanese population have yet to be vaccinated against this virus, and the vaccination process is going very slowly due to the lack of qualified people.
On top of that, many of the people who need medical treatment are not admitted to the hospital because hospitals are filled with coronavirus patients. A state of emergency has been declared over and over again, but the government has been totally unable to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Yesterday the IOC declared, however, that they will hold the Tokyo Olympics even under a state of emergency.
This shows that the IOC thinks so little of human lives, especially Japanese lives. That really infuriates us.
As long as the IOC thinks that Japanese lives are expendable for their Olympics, we must cancel the Tokyo Olympics at all cost. We must disband the IOC as well. We do not need such an inhuman organization to run a sports event.
If the IOC wants their Olympics to be held in Japan, they must kneel down on the ground and ask for our cooperation. Then we might consider their wishes.
